Promoting human capital management

We believe it is necessary to implement initiatives to increase employee engagement and provide a foundation for leveraging human capital such as employee health and safety and diversity, since we are a knowledge-intensive and development-oriented company and human capital is the source of our corporate value growth.
The development of "Active and autonomous human resources" (*1), which we want, and the exercise of their abilities in a direction consistent with the company's management strategy, will stimulate business activities, including product development and sales activities, and provide opportunities for our business to grow. On the other hand, it would be a risk of losing growth opportunities if we don't .

In addition, promoting a healthy and safe work environment where employees feel safe and secure is the foundation for increasing employee engagement, which is an opportunity for our business to grow. However, that would be risks losing growth opportunities if we don't.

Therefore, "promotion of human capital management" is essential to realize our medium- to long-term vision based on our corporate philosophy.
We have formulated a human capital policy in line with these themes to realize this promotion of human capital management:

  1. Fostering an organizational culture that shares our corporate philosophy and proactively participates in realizing our vision
  2. Recruit and develop "Active and autonomous human resources"
  3. Creating a pleasant and rewarding work environment

With this policy, we aim to realize human capital management by fostering a corporate culture in which all employees proactively participate in management.

Recruitment and Development Policy

In addition to hiring and training "Active and autonomous human resouces" in which each individual has own responsibility, we will promote diversity in our human resources by appointing diverse personnel (women, mid-career hires, non-Japanese).
(*1) We define "Active and autonomous human resources" in the following three categories.

  1. Human resources who take on challenges with curiosity

~ Human resources who are willing to take on new challenges with curiosity and an inquisitive mind, anticipating changes in society.~

  2. Human resources who accomplish tasks with their responsibility

~ People who think and act on their own initiative, and always take responsibility for the entire project from the viewpoint of total optimization.~

  3. Human resources who respect diversity and can collaborate with others

~ Human resources who maximize the potential of the organization by caring for others and valuing connections and individuality.~

Based on the above definition, we have planned the following measures to recruit and develop "Active and autonomous human resources".

  • Each department head must set forth an ideal candidate they want to work with and proactively participate in the recruiting process.
  • Spreading company policies and measures to employees through company-wide policy briefings.
  • Communication with the president
