In July 1971 (Showa 46), we established Japan Pure Chemicals Corporation for the purpose of developing, manufacturing, and selling chemicals for noble metal plating. For details, please refer to "History & Milestones".
What is your corporate philosophy?
As a development-oriented company based on the philosophy of "using chemistry's curiosity to benefit electronics," we will continue to challenge the possibilities of chemistry by gathering market needs and connecting them to the development of creative products. What is your business?
Our main business is the development, manufacture, and sale of noble metal plating chemicals used for the contact and connection points of electronic components such as printed circuit boards (including packaged circuit boards), connectors, and lead frames. In particular, we provide comprehensive proposals and services, including process advice and after-sales support, and strive to develop, manufacture, and sell products closely tailored to user needs.
When did the stock go public?
JPC was listed on the JASDAQ market in December 2002, and was listed on the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in March 2004 and the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in March 2005.

When is your fiscal year end?
Our fiscal year ends at the end of March each year, and our interim fiscal year ends at the end of September. We plan to announce year-end financial results in April. We plan to announce quarterly financial results in July, October, and January.

What is your dividend policy?
In October 2023, the Company decided to introduce a new minimum shareholder return of 5% in order to balance long-term growth with financial soundness and to proactively provide a certain level of shareholder return that is not greatly affected by the Company's immediate business performance as a listed company on the prime market. (dividend on equity, DOE) in October 2023, with the aim of proactively providing a certain level of shareholder returns that are not significantly influenced by the company's current performance as a prime market listed company. When is the vesting date for dividend payments?
March 31 of each year. If an interim dividend is paid, it is paid on September 30.

How can I exercise my voting rights at a shareholders' meeting?
We send a notice of convocation of a general meeting of shareholders and a voting form to shareholders listed in the shareholders' register as of the end of the record date for the general meeting of shareholders (as of March 31 in the case of an ordinary general meeting of shareholders). To exercise voting rights,

Do you exercise voting rights via the Internet?
You can only exercise your voting rights via the Internet by using the website for exercising voting rights designated by the Company. For details, please refer to the "Notice of Convocation of the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders" posted under "General Meeting of Shareholders.
Can I bring my child(ren) to the General Meeting of Shareholders? Also, can I have a proxy attend the meeting?
Only shareholders with voting rights are allowed to attend our general meetings of shareholders, and children who are not shareholders are not permitted to attend. In addition, the Company's Articles of Incorporation stipulate that only one other shareholder with voting rights may attend the meeting by proxy, and the proxy must submit a document certifying the proxy's authority to attend the meeting.
