Our Commitment to Sustainability Management

Plating" is an indispensable technology that prevents rusting (oxidation) at the connection points of electronic components and keeps the flow of electricity signals in electronic circuits smooth for optimum performance.
With our proprietary technology, we create added value by sublimating the "ingenious formulation" of Chemicals into recipes for precious metal plating chemicals. Using our products in the plating process makes it possible to form precious metal plated coatings of minimum thickness in necessary areas, thus greatly reducing the use of precious metals, which are a scarce resource, and improving economic rationality. Our business since its establishment has itself been oriented toward the achievement of a sustainable society with less precious metal usage.
Precious metal plating technology is used for contact and bonding inside state-of-the-art electronic devices, and as a fabless, knowledge-intensive and development-oriented company that develops, manufactures and sells plating chemicals specialized for precious metals, we have served as a bridge between the fine chemical field and the electronics industry.
Along with technological innovations such as the convergence of personal computers, mobile phones, and digital cameras into smartphones, the hurdle for required characteristics of electronic components continues to rise, such as smaller size, higher performance, and lower electric power consumption. As the transition to a low-carbon society and the digitization of social infrastructure accelerate, the number of contacts and junctions of electronic components will increase exponentially, just as the electrification of automobiles and electronics has rapidly evolved to include electric vehicles (Electric Vehicle). This will enable us to contribute to the global environment in an even wider range of business fields.
We have set forth two guiding principles in our Medium-Term Forecast, "Sustainability Management Initiatives" and "Recruiting and Developing Active, Autonomous Human Resources," and have formed an Sustainability Committee across all divisions to take on the challenges we face every day.
